When 1 door closes the Lord opens 2 more

I was thinking this very thing this morning as I walked back from my nth round to the washroom. I was actually thinking about Tom and his job situation when I put my hand into the pockets of my fleece and came up with a key. It was the key to the mail box we have for our rental. I thought I'd lost it and was dreading the $50 charge they had for lost keys. So it was a wonderful wonderful Monday morning surprise. Thankyou Lord. And we have the inklings of more good news. Tom saw a job at Baxter posted yesterday. I haven't told any of our friends that he got laid off as yet. Not ready to deal with it. And then I mentioned it to one, and her husband happens to know a manager at Baxter. He said he would talk to him about it. Please Lord let Tommy get this Baxter job. I know he worries about it all the time. Even if it is 3rd shift, even if it does mean we'll see less of him. Please help him Lord. I can't imagine staying at home with Rachael and my ma. Which again is the next blessing. My ma arrived on Friday. And it snowed yesterday. Really heavily. This morning as I drove to work i was very grateful that she was home with Rachael. That I didn't have my monkey in the back seat driving with me through all that snow. Thankyou Lord for the many many blessings you shower on us.
